In February of this year, the Big Stax series reached a point that not many saw coming. The Big Stax 300 (over 1,800 entries) and 500 (over 800 entries) both saw record fields, and it was clear that the tournaments put their stamps on the poker community. As of right now, with 165 total entries at this point in Day 1A, the pace is way ahead of February. More players continue to enter/re-enter at a steady pace, with Allison Schultz and Jonas Wexler the most recent to walk over.

Frank Conti (Staten Island, NY) has wasted no time building his stack, and already has over 100,000 in front of him. Conti finished off 2013 in strong fashion, winning his first WSOPC ring at Harrah's Atlantic City ($365 Six-Max). Conti does not yet have a recorded cash in 2014, but of his 11 cashes lifetime, six of them are final tables.

Big Stax 500 (Day 1A): Bonus Reminder/Level Up
Level 2 is about to begin, and new players continue to take their seats, including Eric Siegel, Christopher Kusha, James Boyle, and Alex Bolotin. Players will be posting blinds of 75/150 in Level 2, and the entire field will be chasing the $1,500 bonus for the end of day chip leader. That bonus will be rewarded each of the three starting days.
