James Kaplan was looking at a second entry receipt straight in the eye earlier, when he was down to less than 2,000 (in Level 3) chips. He tripled up in a lucky pot against Chris Tryba, and now he's built his stack close to double the starting.
Emad Alabsi (Cleveland, OH) also found himself in the same predicament, getting down to 4,000 chips early in the day, but he's also built back up (40,000).
