James Kaplan already has a Big Stax final table during this series, and he's beginning to set his sights on another one. Kaplan started the day with a little over 120,000, but now has close to 600,000. The action was picked up on the river, with a board of 3♠ 9♦ 6♥ 6♠ 5♦. There was about 250,000 in the pot already, and Vitaly Kovyazin had checked to James.
Kaplan thought for a few moments, and then decided to check back. Vitaly was very slow to table his hand, so James turned over his pocket sevens, which would be good for the win (and the chip lead).
