Players Remaining: 29
Igor Burokhov was cruising earlier in the day, sitting with over 1,000,000 in the second level of the day. He was just in a great spot against Rand Marsden (Sewell, NJ), but ended up with less than 10 big blinds. The two players got the money in on the turn, in a pot that would be over 900,000. The two hands were tabled:
Igor: J♠ 10♠ Rand: 8♥ 8♣
Board: 7♦ 3♠ 6♠ 10♦
River: 9♦
Marsden would spike a non-spade nine on the river to steal away the pot from Burokhov, who was left with 190,000 after the hand. Burokhov would bust only a few hands later and the clock is paused as players are about to redraw.
