Larry Wolf (Annapolis, MD) always seemed to go deep in events, cashing consistently in the Big Stax since the series started. Wolf had a $60,000 score in 2007 and a $35,000 in 2011 (both coming at Borgata), and then went a few years with numerous cashes in the $3,000-$5,000 range. Larry finally got his breakout score only weeks ago, when he ended runner-up to Abe Koratki in the $2,500 Borgata Spring Poker Open (co-main event). Larry would take home over $148,000, falling just short of his first major title ever.
Wolf arrived moments before players were going to dinner, and he still sits around the starting stack.
