Big Stax 500 (Day 3): Gross Gets Another Chance

Level 25 (Blinds 20,000/40,000/5,000)
Players Remaining: 12

Sheldon Gross is now the short stack of the bunch, holding just over ten big blinds (400,000).  After James Dascoli limped, Gross limped behind on the button, and Thos Martinson would shove for the second hand in a row (1,200,000).  John would fold and Sheldon would make the call:

Gross: 3 3            Martinson: 9 9

Flop: Q Q 10

Turn: K

River: K

Gross had one foot out the door, but the flop brought chop outs for him, and he would get a refund plus a little after chopping the pot with Martinson.  Sheldon is still very short along with Patti Haggerty, the only players under 1,000,000.
