As Patti was walking to the podium, the other short stack remaining got his last 250,000 in the middle.  It would be the classic race for Gross versus John Dascoli, but Sheldon's QQ did not flip well against the AK of Dascoli.  John would flop an ace, leaving Sheldon three outs in the deck, which he would not hit.
